Meet
Avery Nix

Hi, I'm Avery Nix, CCIT, an Addiction Counselor and Family Care Management Specialist with Tranquil Paths. I also serve as a recovery coach, mental wellness coach, intervention professional, treatment placement consultant, recovery speaker, and I am a person in long-term recovery.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working across many areas of the behavioral health field, including peer recovery support, adolescent residential treatment, outpatient programming, admissions, clinical outreach, treatment placement, community education, and executive leadership. Early in my career, I helped launch peer recovery coaching services in the Northeast Georgia Medical Center emergency departments through the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse. I've also had the opportunity to share my recovery journey through professional conferences, statewide behavioral health organizations, podcasts, treatment programs, ministries, and community events.

At Tranquil Paths, I am passionate about walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate addiction, recovery, mental wellness challenges, treatment decisions, and complex family dynamics. My approach is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and the belief that lasting recovery is possible for everyone. I provide addiction counseling, recovery coaching,
interventions, family care management, case management, treatment placement, and sober or mental health companionship, meeting each person where they are and helping them move toward hope, healing, and long-term wellness.

Whether you're seeking support for yourself or someone you love, my goal is to provide guidance, encouragement, and practical solutions every step of the way. Recovery isn't just about overcoming challenges-it's about building a life that's meaningful, fulfilling, and sustainable. I would be honored to be part of your journey.
